First Post - "7 Things"!

07:15

Hi everyone!

Welcome to my brand spankin' new bloggy, and with that, my first ever post! Can I get a whoop-whoop?!

I'm very excited to get this show on the road, I've always pondered on whether I should start up a blog dedicated to my interests, and I've finally decided to bite the bullet and get going! I should mention that all credit for this first post goes to the lovely Louise of http://sprinkleofglitter.blogspot.com.au/, who inspired me to join in her interactive "7 Things for 7 Days", which sounds like a whole bucket-load of fun :)

So, with much thought, the goals I have decided to go with are:

Exercise. This has been a great big focus of mine as of late, and I've even been getting up at the crack of dawn to fit in something to get rid of some of my jiggle! For instance, I've got my alarm set for 5:20 AM (yes... you read correctly! AM! As in, in the wee hours of the morning... what have I done?!) for tomorrow, where I will meet up with my friend at 5:30 to go for a half hour waddle run. If I can exercise at least 30 minutes 6 days this week, I will be happy! It makes me feel so good :)

Save. I have become an absolute addict to shopping recently, when I'm meant to be saving my moolah! I have this knack that when I see something remotely of interest to me... I just gotta have it! Be this online or in actual shops. It's awful! Must. Not. Spend. Think. Rationally. (Unless it's a life-or-death scenario... in which case, go for it, I say!)

Love. I would like to take some time-out to tell the people I love that, well, I love them. I don't think I express this often enough, and is something I think is very important! Be it a family member or a friend, they should hear this everyday!

Tidy. My room is a pigsty! The only clear space I have is a pathway amongst my clothes leading from my door to my bed. I have empty mugs of tea everywhere, and empty product boxes and random knick-knacks strewn every which way! Classy, huh? So this has to change. ASAP!

Pack. I leave for Brisvegas on Thursday morning, and I haven't even begun to think about packing yet! Just to clear things up, Thursday morning is the morning following tomorrow morning... yup. I have a lot to try and stuff into a tiny little bag, so I better get cracking and sort that out!

Read. I have had Game Of Thrones sitting on my bedside table for months. I love love LOVE the TV series, yet I haven't gotten round to actually opening the pages in the book. Why not, I hear you ask? Because I'm a lazy-bum. I spend way too long online shopping, browsing, doing unnecessary things until it's late and all I want to do is sleep like a baby. So I must actually make time to begin the book, as I have heard many-a-good-thing about it!

Smile. A smile can really make the biggest impression on somebody! Smiling at strangers, smiling for my family, smiling for me... it has the most wonderful benefits. I know if I was just strolling down the street and a random smiled at me, I'd feel all kinds of awesome and happy inside! Spread the love, my friends, and you may just make someone's day :)

Alrighty! Those are my 7 things for this week... wow. That was really fun to do! It's awesome being able to set small goals knowing that they are 100% achievable! I highly recommend anyone else who is reading this to get on board and give it a go! Awesome idea Louise! :)
