Home?!

I am home!!

I can't believe that I've been here for as long as I have. I head back to London in 2 weeks from today. Where does the time go?! The idea of coming back home was something that seemed so far off in the distance, it was hovering on the horizon, like a dream that's just a twinkle in the eye. But all of a sudden I was back, and all of a sudden it was like I'd never left. It's all so familiar and comfortable, I honestly feel as though the past year away in London was just a big dream.

Now, here I am, on the verge of flying back off to the other side of the globe to my new home. I will never get used to calling London my home! Wow, I used to fantasise about London. London, Paris, New York… the big cities that seemed like untouchable magical wonderlands. Now, I'm living in one! And calling it my home. My second home. How things change!

Anyhoo, being back has been a whirlwind of reunions and fun times and gallivanting in the sun, even though it's the middle of winter. Gotta love Australia! I'll be going back with a nice little tan ;) When I came back from London I was practically translucent, so I'm rather happy I don't temporarily blind people as I walk past them anymore.

I'll be back in a few months for Christmas, so it won't be too long until I return! In comparison to a year, I can deal with a few months. No biggie.

Once again I've been M.I.A but the creative juices are starting to get flowing again (creative juices is a term I'm still learning to accept), plus I have a new fantastic lens for my camera which I would love to use! I have my first photography gig tonight… exciting times. I'll be the one and only photographer at a live music event! CRAZY.

Hope you're all well! Until next time.

xx
