Back With Big News!

Well, hello there, dear readers!
It has been quite some time since I last posted in this little blog of mine, and I must say a lot has happened in that time which I feel I must inform you about! {I apologise sincerely for my few month hiatus... oops!}
My last blog post was on the 31st of January; my best friend in the entire UNIVERSE had just left to move to the other side of Australia and I was feeling all abuzz with motivation and inspiration to live my life to its fullest, to follow my hopes and dreams, and really to just make things happen! I also said I'd like to keep up my bloggy blog... which was a bit of a fail. Facepalm! Haha, however I am definitely here to stay now. I want to document my life, not that it's particularly interesting, but to see where I end up and to reflect on what I've been through. I'd really like to look back on my journey when I'm older, and compare the then to the now.
In my last post I also mentioned I'd love to move to either Melbourne or London one day... well, that day is looming closer and closer my friends! For I, Alix, got into a university in LONDON!! I just... I can't even... ahh! Brain implosion! I am to start in September, and I am super duper excited for my future endeavours! I have my official non-return flight booked on the 15th of July, where I will fly to Manchester and then drive to Kirkby Lonsdale to visit some rellies, then I'll go to Scotland to visit a few other rellies, and from there it's to London! And London is where I'll stay. However, if any of you have any suggestions on great {preferably cheap} accommodation, please let me know! I'll be floating around for about a month at this stage, as I won't get a room on university campus until September... so I have been searching high and low for possible places where I can temporarily live! Also, if any of you live in London, let's be friends? :)
Another goal mentioned was to stay consistent with my youtube channel, and this I have! However, I recently started a new channel as I decided to create different content. Instead of doing makeup-y type videos, I now do chatty/skit type videos! It is a LOT of fun! Come check me out at www.youtube.com/LittlexCub if you want to say hello! It allows me to be my true, crazy-weird self, which I enjoy immensely. I just did the best friend tag, actually, as I spent the last week in Melbourne so I thought I'd seize the opportunity and get my best friend involved in a video! A fabulous time was had in the filming of this! Which I will post here:
It's quite a long 'un, so if you make it to the end, I award you a gold star or one of those cool scratch 'n' sniff stickers! They were the best. Only the nice, sweet smelling ones though. Not those gross pizza/tomato sauce ones... ick. Only the best for my readers!
I also stated my weight loss goals, and this I have continued to struggle with! I've done quite well since January, but my last week in Melbourne has set me back quite a bit... I'm determined to get back into the swing of things as soon as possible! So I will keep you posted ;)
Ooo, and last but not least, I got my hair dyed! Which, if you watched the video above, you would have recently learned. Very exciting in my books! My hair has been au naturale for my entire life, and has been the exact same for many years... I'd never been to a salon! Back in the days when I thought I would be moving to Melbourne with Saskia, we discussed how I would have to go to a hair salon for the first time and how we'd have to celebrate when I do, as I've always had a family friend cut mine at home. But, seeing as that didn't happen, when reunited last week, we decided to do it then! Very nerve-racking, but I'm glad I went through with it. I like it, I think :)
Do any of you have ombre hair? If you do, please let me in on some tips on how to care for it!
I think that may be all I have to update you on since my last post... I will keep posting a new youtube video each week, and I will also write a new blog post each week! I have a new fancy camera now which will take better quality pictures, so this little bloggy of mine can only get better!
Thank you all for your patience,
Happy Monday! xx
